Upload only material you have permission to use. You keep ownership of your uploads and give us the limited permission needed to analyze and render them. Purchases run through Stripe-hosted Checkout. Oscillihue is a developing creative service, so keep local copies of anything important.
Accepting these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Oscillihue website, application, and related services (the “Service”). Oscillihue is operated by Lightbrush (“Lightbrush,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use Oscillihue for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. You must be able to form a binding contract where you live.
Your account
You may be able to sign in with Google or a verified email link. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting access to your email, Google account, browser session, and devices. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
Provide accurate information and do not impersonate another person or use another person’s account. We may require a verified account before Checkout, subscription management, or other account-bound features are available.
Your uploads and instructions
You retain whatever rights you already hold in audio, text, images, and other material you upload or submit (“Your Content”). These Terms do not transfer ownership of Your Content to Lightbrush.
You give Lightbrush a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, analyze, modify, transmit, and render Your Content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and support the Service, comply with law, and complete the projects you request. This license lasts as long as the relevant content is held for those purposes.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for Your Content and for the way you ask us to process it. Private uploads are not a substitute for music, sample, performer, trademark, publicity, or other clearances.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to:
- upload or process content unlawfully or without required permission;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- create or distribute malware, abusive material, or content that facilitates harm;
- bypass account, credit, rate, access, or rendering limits;
- probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure, except where applicable law expressly allows it; or
- misrepresent Oscillihue output, provenance, or affiliation with Lightbrush.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate steps to protect users, creators, providers, and the Service.
Previews, renders, and creative rights
Oscillihue analyzes inputs and renders visual systems on managed cloud infrastructure according to the settings, build, and creative direction you select. The launch service delivers rendered video; it does not include a Blender or Notch integration, plugin, or local rendering tool. Previews and estimates help you evaluate a direction, but a final render can differ because of settings, source material, processing, or technical constraints.
Lightbrush retains all rights in the Service, software, interface, brand, preset systems, underlying tools, and reusable production methods. Rights to use a delivered render can depend on Your Content, the selected build, third-party material, and any product-specific license shown with the project or order. The Service does not guarantee that an output is exclusive, protectable, or free of every third-party claim.
Unless you direct us to publish a project or separately give permission, we treat uploaded tracks and project renders as private account content.
Planned Channels service
If launched, Oscillihue Channels will program and deliver completed video files through scheduled, cache-friendly streams. It is not a promise of continuous or real-time GPU generation. Personal access permits private, non-commercial viewing only. Public display in a venue, business, or event requires the applicable commercial venue license and does not clear music or other third-party public-performance rights.
Creators may affirmatively opt eligible public renders into a future community catalog. No royalty entitlement begins unless and until the creator accepts published program terms covering eligibility, rates, reporting, payment, moderation, and removal.
Credits and payments
Paid features may use credits, one-time packs, subscriptions, or another offer displayed in the Service. Prices, included credits, billing interval, available payment methods, taxes, and any provider-specific terms are shown at or before purchase.
Checkout is hosted by Stripe. By paying, you also agree to the terms and notices Stripe presents for that transaction. Oscillihue uses Stripe transaction events to grant credits and update account billing status.
For a render, the Service may place a credit hold based on an estimate and capture credits after successful delivery. Unused held credits may be released when a job does not complete. Credits are a limited Service entitlement, not money, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Founding Loop launch reward
A confirmed Founding Loop member starts with one of three launch signals. The member may unlock one Starter Render Pass by completing either of two routes: verify eligible public posts on two distinct supported platforms using the member’s mission proof code, or have one distinct collaborator confirm through the member’s invitation link. Opening a share dialog, downloading media, copying a caption, or submitting a URL does not by itself verify a mission.
Eligible social posts must be public, contain the assigned mission proof code, remain accessible long enough for verification, and comply with the selected platform’s rules. Platform restrictions or availability may prevent automatic verification; the confirmed-invitation route remains available in that case. We may reject reused proof URLs, inaccessible posts, posts without the proof code, self-referrals, duplicate or controlled accounts, automated activity, retroactive attribution, invalid addresses, or other abusive or ineligible activity.
The reward is limited to one Starter Render Pass per account. Additional posts or invitations do not earn additional passes or credits. The pass currently has a value of five credits and guarantees two Standard preview passes at two credits each plus one 5-second 960×540 Draft-tier render at one credit. If launch pricing changes, Oscillihue will adjust the pass’s credit grant so it remains sufficient for that same sequence. We may delay a grant while checking eligibility. Promotional credits have no cash value and remain subject to the Service’s credit and availability rules.
A release or restoration of Oscillihue credits is not the same as a refund of money. Refunds and payment reversals are handled according to the offer and Checkout terms shown to you, provider rules, and applicable law. Contact us if a billing result appears incorrect.
Subscriptions
If you purchase a recurring plan, it renews at the interval and price shown at Checkout until canceled. You can manage an active subscription through the Stripe-hosted billing portal when that feature is available to your account.
Cancellation stops future renewal but does not automatically reverse charges or extend unused credits, except where the offer, provider terms, or applicable law says otherwise. Plan features, queue priority, included credits, and concurrency limits are the ones displayed when you subscribe and may change for a future billing period with appropriate notice.
Availability and changes
Oscillihue is a developing creative and rendering service. Features may be labeled preview, beta, coming soon, or experimental. We may change, pause, or discontinue a feature; reject an unsafe or unsupported upload; or delay a render for maintenance, capacity, security, provider failure, or technical reasons.
We do not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent storage. Keep local copies of original media, settings you need elsewhere, and delivered renders.
Links and integrations from other companies, including Google and Stripe, are governed by their own terms and practices. We are not responsible for a third-party service outside our control.
Suspension and ending use
You may stop using the Service at any time. Oscillihue does not currently offer self-service account deletion; you can contact us about closing an account or requesting deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, fraud, charge reversal, security risk, legal requirement, harm to the Service or others, or nonpayment. Where practical, we will try to provide notice and a chance to resolve the issue.
Sections that by their nature should continue—such as payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—survive the end of your use.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Lightbrush disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce a particular creative or commercial result.
Nothing in these Terms limits a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lightbrush will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lightbrush’s total liability for claims arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid through Oscillihue during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Service develops. We will post the current version here and update the effective date. If a material change applies to existing paid use, we will provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate. Continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to captain@lightbrushproject.com.
